Forbidden Garden Retreat is a rural vacation rental suite only 15 minutes from downtown Courtenay, at the base of Forbidden Plateau between the Brown's and Puntledge Rivers.Your mountain retreat is close to nearby beaches, sea kayaking, golf and salmon fishing or you can just relax in the surrounding garden, acreage and forest. In the winter we are only 25 minutes away from the ski lifts at Mt. Washington, cross-country skiing trails and snowboarding.

We are also just 10 minutes away from backcountry skiing at the top of Forbidden Plateau. As well, we are 5 minutes from the Puntledge River for swimming and canoeing or accessing miles of mountain biking and hiking trails.The self contained suite with your own private entrance, is tastefully decorated in a quiet, Zen-like style with wood finishing and unique artwork.
